I need to insert a scrolling text box onto a page. The box will be updated with news and I need it to scroll. Does anyone know how to do this within Web Designer 6? If not, what's a good outside tool I can get scroll box code from?

Welcome to TalkGraphics
You will need a script to do this which you can then add to a Placeholder to create your scrolling text box. I did a quick Google search for scrolling text box and came up with this page of possibilities: http://www.google.com/search?q=scrol...ient=firefox-a
Find a script that does what you want, then create a rectangle to the size you want, open the Website Properties > Placeholder section and paste the script. It will probably go in the Replace with HTML Code (HTML Code Body) area.
