yeah.. help.. again how to remove .HTM

so i look through the forum.. with my luck not good enough.. how do i remove the .htm extension when people access my website. example is /forums.htm i wana remove that..

Welcome to TalkGraphics

Name your home page index.htm, or index.html, people can just go to www.yoursitename.com The browser will automatically load the page.

But when the page loads, it will show www.yoursitename.com/index.htm or html. There is nothing you can do about the extension.
