Just about caught up with Gary's tuts. with the May Compass tut. I've not altered the compass face as Gary said he had done at the end of the tut. but to give a little more highlight to the bottom of the compass added a circular transparency.

Looks good to be though it looks as though you cheated a bit on the base.

The observation I have tho' is that the degree marks and blue marker should be paralell to the base as the 'ball in the globe floats.?
