    Default Britains new deterrent

Even with the new budgetary constraints the Ministry of defence has commissioned tests of Britains new stealth aircraft. Seen here in low altitude tests over the local golf course.

What looks like a crazy idea today, becomes the standard of tomorrow!

So, you better get a patent on that quickly Derek, or your idea will be stolen before you know it!

    Brilliant, brilliant drawing.

I always enjoy seeing your work Derek. Your fills and textures make your drawings unique and inspiring.

Are these stealth aircraft subject to wind direction or is there an unseen means of propulson?

Great job. Good to know thinks aren't so bad. Who needs a harrier jump jet (we clearly don't)?

There is a degree of 'having to wait until the wind is in the right direction', but once it is you can be over the target in a matter of days. It might be worth suggesting to the Ministry of Defence the inclusion of some sort of small fan to speed the mission up a bit, or perhaps a sail made from recycled table cloths or bed sheets.

Hmm, given the severe cutbacks I have been reading about, your solution could probably cut down on the budget drain. Maybe they could enlist some of the budget cutters (who think that feeding elderly persons who are physically unable to do so themselves is not an "essential service"), to strap on the balloons and do their duty keeping the country protected.

That's such a good idea, Derek. I think when you put it into service you'll have to paint the balloons in a camouflage colour scheme though.
