WD6 A web page with gap-space on the top and bottom

    Hi again !
Another question: I want to make a gap-space on my site, for instance 30 px on the top and 20 px on the bottom. And, of course, not all the pages are same size.
What's the best and easiest way ? Do I have to put some html code in placeholders, or I have some better solution ?

In order for this to work, your page and background must have a custom color or texture. Ctrl drag and drop a color onto the background and onto the page.

Open the Page and Layers Gallery

Select the Page Background layer and unlock it.

Select the page (it is now an editable rectangle). Drag the top center control handle down a bit.

    Lock the Page Background layer.

    Preview the page.

The space at the bottom will depend on how deep your page is.

I have been trying to remember how to do this in WD7 and I figured it out.

Display rulers (Ctrl L). Drag the Drag 0,0 point cross hair to the top corner of the page.

Drag the page origin upwards to establish the distance from the top of the page.

Your background (the pasteboard) needs to have a color or texture.
