OUT of MEMORY ERROR

I can't open my web page to work on it. I keep getting an "out of memory" error message. The help topic on Xara says to optimize the photos to increase memory space, but I can't open the file to do that. Any ideas?

About the only thing I can think of is to reboot your computer. Shut down any open programs, then try to open the document.

If you can get it to open, then by all means use the Utilities > Optimize all JPEGs option.

If this still does not work, from the File > Open Recent menu, select Backups... and see if you can open any of the backups. You may lose a lot of your work but with any luck, not all. Web Designer makes a backup every ten minutes. As annoying as this is, it is not so annoying when you are able to open a previous backup and discover that all is not lost.
