... and who knows, if Xara adds it to this version, I may very well indeed be the last. :-)

While you're waiting for table support you may find that it works pretty well using tab stops (left/right/center/decimal) too
Or copying from spreadsheet and pasting as EMF.
But if you want visible tables, and/or need tables a lot, I can understand the urge for "real" tables.
