I inserted a link to a pdf file by dragging/dropping and it works fine. However, when trying insert a second and different pdf file to the same page, the two "separate" links seem to go to only one of the files. Any thoughts on this?

Interesting. After 24 hours of not working...........you guessed it....it now works well.
