I'm sure the same images appear in books as well as on google images. What's your point James?

Yes and?... I have a number of books belonging to my son with the same pictures in. I have no doubt I would have looked on the internet to find the pictures but I have no need. If I get asked to do another one and I don't have the pictures, I'll check on google images, thanks for the tip! I just wonder, if I didn't do the picture then who did? I looked at your thread, putting back Einstein's tongue. I take it you didn't do that.... The word " hypocrite " springs to mind! However, it doesn't really matter how the picture was done, as long as the person it was done for appreciates it!
There are, of course, copyright issues here and I think James makes some good points but I believe we are in danger of falling foul of the spirit of this forum in favour of being over zealous. Well, that's how I feel today anyway. If tomorrow somebody says "look what I did" and it turns out to be a carbon copy of something I did last year, then I'm sure I'll see it differently. But today I'm a little tired of reading people nit-picking over legal issues (valid legal issues) when really I want to read about graphics. Time for some chill pills.

I totally agree with you beret.
Great work Derek. Your drawing is well integrated with the photo, or should that be the photo is well integrated with the drawing.

Hi derek.
Copying, tracing and altering Walt Disney cartoon characters, and publishing them online, is plagiarism, especially when you give yourself credit for their creation. Doing this is bad enough, but steadfastly defending it (and thereby promoting it) is considerably worse. If you insist on plagiarising, at least be considerate enough to keep TG out of it.

Hi James... I have at no time took the credit for creating the characters in this picture, and as I said before, anyone with an ounce of sense would know that... I did however say I did the picture for a friend. Saying that does NOT mean I created the characters... So on that note, can we please draw a line under the issue!! Thanks again.
