Ah, do you mean pop up layers? When you mouse over an object something appear on the page?
If so, this tutorial might help. http://www.xaraxone.com/webxealot/wo...orkbook_4.html

No I don't think that I can do what I want with layers. (I have used a layer based photo changer on this page on one of my sites: http://www.littleopera.ca/cosi_bios.htm - and that is not really what I am after in this case.) I think I am likely looking at some kind of CSS solution (which could be implemented with html code in a placeholder). That seems to be the solution that is used on Xara's site here. Problem is I am not really proficient at CSS, and was hoping that there might be a widget based solution right inside Xara Designer Pro (6).
operaman, the "CSS slider" you refer to is actually Flash.
This kind of behaviour can be done with javascript, but this really has nothing to do with CSS.
Hi,
I have a related query. I've been on the Xara Website gallery and picked up on one of the website created in Xara (I'm assuming its Xara Web Designer???). Here's the website - http://www.tombishopcarpentry.co.uk/
I want to create a similar set of cascading animated images on my website [http://www.carlislebusiness-supplies...orefront/home] to replace a flash banner that we currently have. I got the flash banner made by someone, but now I've bought Xara Extreme and Web Designer I'm looking to do it inhouse. I don't want to export it to a flash file as I've heard its not supported by Apple and is getting outdated, and its also a heavier file.
Is it possible to create something like tombishopcarpenter solely with Xara products?
