Welcome to TalkGraphics
You need to do this in two steps.
First step is to create a solid vector shape. This is what you will work with in Xara 3D.
Then you apply the graphics part of the logo as a bitmap.
Here is an old tutorial that explains the process http://www.xaraxone.com/tutorials/apr99/index.html
This was an older version of Xara 3D but the basic process is the same.

i tried what it tells me to do however i get the following message
Hello, Kidanny, this is a common problem. Essentially, Xara3D works on vector shapes, not bitmaps. Many graphic utilities can export a bitmap as a wmf file, but they cheat. What they do is make use of a common vector option of including a thumbnail of the bitmap in the vector file, while not bothering to put any vector information along with it. This is what your error message is saying.
Most such applications do not actually convert the bitmap into a vector format, a process called tracing. They may have a tracing option, invoked separately, then the resulting vectorised image can be properly exported. You can either use a vector app that does tracing, or use the vector app to manually draw over the bitmap and create the vectors yourself.
Have a look at this thread.

Xample what could be done with xara3d6 AND xara xtreme pro 5
be aware, not to become a ware.
Show off.
