Try bringing your navigation bar to the top (select the bar and press Ctrl f)

The navigation bar and the dropdown menu are all above the animation. Still does not work. Any other ideas?

Just use the rectangle tool and add an object the same size as the placeholder behind the placeholder. See example:

Thanks for the suggestion. If I use a preset nav bar it works, but with the hover-over that I created it does not. I have attached an image which shows the layers I have used. Maybe you can see what I did wrong?

You have different addresses on the buttons. Try using the same urls

I am sorry, I feel very dense right now. I have each of the buttons linked to a page and set to have the hover-over. This works on the home page where there is no animation. strange, when I drop the animation on the page it works, but when I use a placeholder for the animation it does not work. Well, the problem is solved. Thank you for your generous help!
