XDP6 - Import CDR what version?!

What KNOWN version CDR will xara import? (or other vector alternatives)



CorelDRAW x13 file was saved all the way down to version 7 and Xara errors: " Not a CorelDRAW CDR file. "
..yea right.


Also Error messages that state a file is corrupt is not helpful.
Like the CMX format that also failed. The files import without error in CorelDRAW.

Exporting EPS, AI, from CorelDRAW and importing to XDP6 also failed.


UPDATE:
WMF file kinda works, it imports in upside down and backwards.
EMF will import without text (everything is curves)
PDF is the winner!

Well Hi,
I have CorelDRaw X3 and what I do is open cdr file in corel and copy yo clipboard, then in Xara I just paste using Corel cmx as the profile. So far everything has com into Xara quite well...the image (vector) comes in as a group tho'.

Hi,
to further add to my suggestion, I have a external Hard Drive hat I have copied n old Corel Draw 4 clipart CD to and I can import them to CorelDraw X3 and then copy to clipboard as I previously mentioned then Paste as Corel format into Xtreme Designer 6.
