Well BP, you may not consider yourself an expert but you are our expert. To say the least, you certainly are creative. As a matter of fact, that's what I enjoy most about your work is your creativity.

I have been working with the contour tool and bitmaps to create chrome In addition I've been working with some of the files on this thread to modify these glass balls. I added the chrome technique behind the glass spheres. They created an interesting effect.

Nostaw, I want to congratulate you on these glass spheres. They went way beyond my expectations from when I first seen them. I did not do any modification to your spheres aside from the color change. Fantastic job.

    Hope you like it.

I have posted the file so that others can have some fun with this. Enjoy!

Thanks Paul, Graet work on the Chrome and glass you did, i like them but i stay at my point, i want to draw chrome or glass only in pure vector objects, i still try and search the tutorials on the Internet.
Anyway this is a great job, well done.

I agree with you BP. I would prefer to keep my work in vector because of the clarity in whatever size you publish but I am learning this program and I need to experiment with all the tools that it has to offer. I haven't even touched the brush tool yet. I am just starting to see how powerful these tools are. I appreciate your work greatly because of all the hard work that goes into it. And it shows. That's why you're our expert. Thanks again for your comments.

Here's one for you BP. The entire glass ball and background images all vector. 100%

Note: those glass spheres are not mine and they are 100% vector. Fabulous work putting those together. Works great with the named colors.

You're right Gary, we are getting off topic. Thank you BP for sharing these concepts with us. It takes a little while to learn but I think the efforts are worthwhile. Here are some chrome balls drawn based on BPs techniques. I am working on some others that I will post later.

So everybody, what do you think?

One thing I noticed throughout these threads have a lot of great participation from everybody on the forum. I believe this thread and others like it are very helpful to people learning the software. Thank you everyone for your participation.
