Changing brush size

How do change the brush size on the pen tool? It goes from 67pix to 97 or something and turns my line into a big black blob. I just want to set a width and then draw a freehand line.

Hello Greenbug, You can set the line size by choosing from the drop drown list on the info bar or you can type directly in the box. I am assuming you meant the freehand tool.
