Delete recently opened documents list

Hi, i am a new user of xtreme 5.1. In learning how to use the program i have made many bad graphics. How do i delete them so that when i " open recent " from the file function. Thanks for your help. It's driving me nuts--- too much clutter. Bob wise

Hi Bob,

Open OPTIONS (Ctrl+SHIFT+O) and go to the 'General' tab.
There you can change the 'Recent File list size' from 20 to a minimum of 1.

Note that reducing the number of Files in the Recent File List doesn't actually clear them from the list. If you increase the number again in the Options, they'll be back.

BTW, I've also found that 20 is way too many for me.

they are in the registry - so you can delete them there I guess - perhaps xreg already has that in hand?

Not it doesn't delete them, but it reduces the 'clutter' that bothered Bob, and in the case where 20 is too many, the list can be reduced back to 9 if you wish.

FTM, it can be reduced to 1. And, yes, that does help with the clutter.

Some time back in the dark ages, I was using an app in which I could nearly "clear" the list by reducing the number of files shown, exiting the app, then entering the higher number again. Don't recall what it was, but that "feature" came in handy on occasion.

The answer is simple... try out a generous number of XaraXone's excellent tutorials and replace those "bad graphics" with some good ones

If you want to remove entries you can delete them from the Recent File List key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Xara\XtremePro\5.1\Opti ons\Recent File List
