Good work Alex. The only thing I would change would be a small tweak ti the light positions to stop the dark/light glare.

I would say that it's a very good effort for your first attempt.
Try experimenting with moving the lighting arrows to get rid of the very dark and light parts of the animation. (I see Keith beat me to it)

Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read. Groucho Marx.
Well done Alex.
If you change the background colour to match the page where the animation will be displayed the dark 'jaggies' will go away.

Alex,
Now that's something you can be proud of. A few tweaks to the lighting and background color as mentioned above and you'll be the talk of the geocache community for some time.
Oh, and an enthusiastic welcome to TalkGraphics and the wonderful world of Xara Software, also!
Bang up job,
Harry
Thanks for the tips guys. I'm kinda struggling with the lighting. Have you any tips for me on how to reduce the light/dark glares?
Thanks
Click on the Show/Hide Lighting (Ctrl+Tab), start your animation, then move the lighting arrows around until you minimize the glare burst. Some trial and error is necessary because of the various shapes, bevels, extrusion depth, color schemes, etc. used in the animations. Since you've gotten this far, I'm sure you'll get the hang of it pretty quickly. Oh, and BTW, sometimes changing the color of the lights is more effective in reducing the glare than the position of the lights, alone.
Check it out,
Harry

Heres another attempt at a spinning GIF I did. I tried to reduce the glare on it.
Let me know what you guys think.
