Is it possible to export a Xara3D6 animation on a transparent background?
If so, can you please describe how to do it.
Thanks

HI welcome
if you have the trial version - no
otherwise for gif/swf there is a 'transparent' tick box in the output dialog box
avi - again no - you would need to export with a suitable monochrome background and edit in a video editor

I just got xara3d today. Pretty good program, but for transp... Background, nope Infact it works with magix videoDE LUXE 15 program , but if you have to buy this program just for making 3 D titles or text. Good clever strategy from xara and Magix. We can't blame somebody becourse the are smart I use a pro editing program, and will not use a other just for title. But xara extreme graph and photo are realy good to use in pro editing programs. Much faster and 100% qaulity pic's or drawings. Great to make logo's and so.
Ok, only thing to do is, making the background in green or blue and Cromakey it. But you loss 90% the shadows . Or make from every movie frame a pic frame. But thats a lot of work. Thats even crazy. But its posible.
For so far no solution. Video Deluxe comes for +/- 150$ or +/- 100€ , thats not immense. So if you want no problems with the background, you have to buy it. I'm thinking about it
you have a problem with buying it? - you think you should get the benefit free?

PeterWippel, there must be a way.
Because when I use paltalk, I can import SWF files
over my cam, and they are transparant and I can see
the cam below it.
(paltalk, is a text and speech chatprogram.)
be aware, not to become a ware.
are you using AVI export from xara3D, if so no transparency, I'm afraid
SWF - there is a transparency option in the output dialog, as ankhor has indicated, but it depends whether the program you are importing into supports it or not...
