Default Re: Errors On TIFF Export

Honestly thought I was going to be able to help, but I exported the image 4 times on different settings, each time at 600dpi and 2650 x 3219 pix and every time it exported in about a second without any problem.

reckon yours worked Frank because your image is smaller

the image that I exported [200% of the original] was 6888pix by 8554pix at 600dpi [no compression]

    Just brought in a 3000 x 2250 px JPG and exported it as a monster TIF, 16000 x 12000 px, CMYK, LZW. It's 170Mb

Sorry to be away from the topic. I wasn't getting any notice that there were replies. I appreciate those who have tried (and succeeded) to recreate this issue.

Frank, I have only experienced this when exporting with the specifics of my first post. That is, NO compression and 24 bit (not CMYK). And the image is brought in as a scanned 600dpi TIFF image.

Since it has been recreated by at least one other person, I think it is something worth taking a closer look at, by the powers that be.

Does anyone know what "TIFFAppendToStrip" might refer to?
