Yeah ... but documenting (forcing oneself) really solidifies the procedure in the brain. And, it just might help someone else experience the same light. I'm curious to see what Pixelart will reveal when totally complete.

Here's a complete concept i did for a client to show him how the site would work. Complete with drop down menu, database driven gallery and fully functional contact form with smart date select.

Now the client can see an operational web site rather than a static PDF that i usually send, Once approved optimise the graphics, slice them up and into Dreamweaver she goes where i re-develop the real site.

Speed or downloading speed is not an issue due to it sent out as a concept without any consideration for end user at this early in the project.

Love WD features for quick concepts to show the client.

yea i learn the hard way.

buttons or links won't work under another layer.

one way i found out bak wards was , a good way to "see" everything is to slide all the color out.

i did not even know about the slider for that untill i thought it happened from doing something else and well.

I put in a new header and on a couple pages a form for comments/orders, which i can thank xara support for. Thank You. the more i learn about xara, the "A" company may have to start to selling fonts again. lol

So much easier to use than Dreamweaver.

My only criticism so far is the use of 'repeat on all pages' and 'update repeating objects' commands. It would be a lot better if these commands could be applied to selected pages (repeat) and items (update) rather than all pages and all items on the site ... or have I missed something?

Excellent work psychro. The Applications page has a "Power Station" button that points to Xara.

I agree about the "repeat on all pages" - a bit of a kludge because there are no master pages - maybe next release.
