Also, now that Xara has released Web Designer, I would think that the focus for Xtreme 5 will be away from website creation.

I hope that any new and future web page design functions will be kept to the Web Designer program. Then they can focus the web design stuff into that program for the people that want it and the Xtreme development can focus more on drawing, painting, illustration tools, which I think that more Xtreme users would like to see. Just my two cents worth.

I'm with you, Bruce.
We need some long awaited new vector drawing tools within Xara Xtreme. Other vector drawing packages were much more innovative within the last three years.

Seconded.
I wish Xara would listen to us users and stop making toys which are not very useful to the professional graphics community at large and get some decent developers working on their core big money product.
But as I said before I don't think there's anyone there who knows how the core engine of Xtreme actually works so they can't create new tools.
If there's now vector tools in XX5 I'll eat my hat in the same vain as Werner Herzog Eating his shoe and post it on You Tube.
Common sense one said,
This is common practice for companies who own divisions(read products here)
They take a look at the more profitable divisions and divide the areas that work from the areas that don't.
This will distinguish what's valuable and what's not.
By dividing it makes it easier to be able,in the future,to dump a product or development
Magix is known for it's separate software programs.
