Default Finding a break in an outline

I've seen a solution to this before, but I can't find it.

I manually trace around a large, not to simple, shape, hoping my outline will be a closed shape, but sometimes it's not. I assume there's an unintentional break in it somewhere. How can I find the break and fix it without doing the trace again?

With the line selected with the shape editor tool, use the "Tab" key to scroll through each node in order.

Thanks, Bob. Once I find it how can I fix it?

Select the line, use the shape editor tool and press the end key to show the end point, the home key shows the start. Drag the points close together to auto connect them

Select the line, select the shape editor tool (F4), click a node on the selected line, press Home or End on the keyboard to go to first/last nodes respectively in that line. Oh, someone already said this...whoops.

A quick way is to select any portion of the line and change the line color. Then if the line is broken you can see the color difference.

Cbutton69, make sure that both lines are selected with the selection tool, then choose the shape editor tool and drag the last point of one line to the other and they will connect.

I just tried this because I wanted to know for myself for an image I am doing. I could only get them to connect when they were both selected first.
