Thanks for the patch. Flawless install, got all my hacks working. Great being able to use "blank" links (htm) and not get double page loads.

Just encounter a bug. Please bear with me if it's already reported.

With any effect applied (even Enhance) on a photo, resize the photo to a smaller size, then clip the photo with a shape. (it's a pretty straightforward sileutte-cutting process)

The clipped result seems like that the photo wasn't resized before clipping.

Is that using the new photo tool or XPE?

The newly-integrated old XPE photo tool in the plugin category, I think.

Not quite sure what your answer suggests ... XPE as of Version 4 has started exhibiting some bizarre behaviour in cropping and is not recommended - Xara have actually stated that "we" shouldn't be using it. You should use the integrated photo tool to do all your editing.

    Can't repeat this at all.
With the exception of the Red-Eye adjustment, the built-in photo tools are separate to the old XPE (I'm thinking you know this anyway).

Here's what I tried, is this what you mean?.

    1. Import photo
    2. Press the Photo Tools icon (P) and then the 'Enhance' button on the info bar.
    3. Resize the photo (I made mine one quarter the original size)
    4. Draw a shape over the photo
    5. Send shape to back
    6. Select all and press 'Q' to clip it

My results, using any effect are that the photo is still the same 'resized' size, not the original size..

My bad. I mean after applying the first effect "enhance" from the "live effect tool" directly, not XPE, not the "photo tool" either.

Ah OK. Yes this does use the old XPE quad tool 'enhance' dialog.
Basically don't, the same tools are on the info bar of the (P)hoto tools

However, I still cannot repeat your noted error - sorry.

That still shouldn't have affected to clip and resize ..... !

EDIT: posted at the same time as Sledger - Didn't realise that the same filter was used in the plug-ins - Maybe that does account for it.
