    Default More than one SWF on same web page

    In a Xara made website I attempted to add two SWF files on the same page, but can't get any of them to show. One will but not two. Any way around this?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Tom, this shouldn't be a problem at all. Just create 2 rectangles as placeholders and give each one a name using the name gallery. For example:
    FLASH="1.swf"
    &
    FLASH="2.swf"
    Next you also have to ensure that the swfs are saved to the sub-directory that XX creates when you export your html from XX. So say you exported the html page/site as "2swfs.html", XX automatically creates a sub directory called "2swfs.html_files" to store css and image files etc. Your swf files should also be located within this directory.

    Have you tried this and succeeded Egg?
    I can't get this to work at all using FLASH="1.swf"
    I have to use SWFobject="1.swf"
    Secondly one on a page works, but two on a page stops either from showing.

    Yes Steve. Try the attached.

    Create the html from the xar file and ensure the 2 swf files are in the sub folder.

    Thanks Egg,

    Once again you came to the rescue. Your suggestion did it.

    Wonder why naming these using FLASH instead of SWFObject makes it work...hmm.
