Can't get text repelling working

Repelling works on blocks of 'text' as commonly used in DTP (desktop Publishing) where images are in context.

Thank you very much for your explanation.Can i learn somewhere how to use block text in order to test myself this repelling option? or a xara file ?

Click the Text Tool (T) and draw (drag) a text area rectangle.

Copy the Lorem text below to the clipboard (drag select it and press Ctrl+C) and then paste into the Xara text area (Ctrl+V). The place your shape ontop the text and set the repelling..

Steve, don´t know if you have forgotten this but you can generate Lorem Ipsum text in Xara pressing CONTROL+SHIFT+L with the text tool selected. This works for single lines as well as for blocks of text.
