Hello PaulR,
Welcome to Talkgraphics Forums!
Yes, you have. Make sure that your text is UNDER the object that has the repel text propertie applied. Otherwise it will not work.
Hi Paul, Miguel is correct - the repelling object has to be above (on top) the text you wish it to repel.
... and text must be in a text area, not just a line

Paul, again Welcome to TG - as you can see members here jump to help
I also had the same problem http://www.talkgraphics.com/showthread.php?t=32481
I created a text area move it to the back and created an object , repel under 3mm .the object moves only between the lines although it's too small and doesnt flow , i mean the words don't take the shape of the object , what do i still miss?
Any help please ?
Hi gaftalik,
Could you post your .xar file. This will allow us to see more clearly where you might be going wrong
Thanks
Here it is .Please just drag the object and see the lines how they move .
I see what you're doing..
Repelling works on blocks of 'text' as commonly used in DTP (desktop Publishing) where images are in context. It's not designed to work on continuos lines of single letters without spaces.
See the help file topic 'Repelling text objects'
