Default Resize an object with bitmap background

    Hi,

I have noticed that when you apply a background and then resize the object then you get a bad aspect ration with background...

The background is deformed and you must just it again.

So, it is possible have a background that lock aspect ratio?

    Thanks

There is a tiny black padlock icon on the Infobar, Lock Aspect Ratio.

This button should be in the down position (enabled).

When the Lock Aspect Ratio is enabled, then your image and the background will scale the same.

    Thanks Gary,

but I don't mean it...I want that background don't follow the size of object.

In the 1 I have my box with background, and it is good for me. But then I decide to resize object and the background is deformed. So I must work on to correct it in the point 3.

Is it possible have the background that correct his self?

PS: Excuse my I have really difficult with english

Hello Spyro, If you put the backround on a different layer than the other objects, you don't have this problem. Just uncheck the 'edit' box (the arrow) on the backround layer. Hope this helps..

    I don't believe to understand...

I put my box in a level.

The I create a background and I put it in a second level.

But when I resize object don't I must resize background too?

Or I have in this way create a mask the "burn" the first layer and so I see the second layer?
