    Exclamation Re: transparency

You do not even need to ungroup, which in the case of a bitmap trace opens a can of worms (creates a real mess).

Just Ctrl click on the white background and delete it.

You can Ctrl click on any object in a group to select just that object.

You can also Ctrl click on an object in a group, then press the Tab key many times to toggle through the objects in the group.

CTRL click another one I didn't know.

OK I need the following shortcuts:-

    1. Keystokes to complete xams shopping in five minutes

    2. Keystrokes to ensure what I buy the wife is correct

    3. The main one - how to claw back all the work when I've erased all my work.

Hey this could end up being a never ending thread?

    cheers

Re the export type. Remember as well as gif and png you can also go the swf route.

In this case I had 48 precisely [including background]

ctrl-click is very useful if all you want to do is remove the background - good point Gary - no problem there.
