Xara for mac actually in the future?

On another TG posting, people lamented the current state of XaraLX (for linux) since the project has paused a little bit, due to some source code release limitations, due to Magix aquisition. It was a hot topic in a mailing list. I was bored (typical sunday night) , I read the mailing list comment thread. Looks like Xara for Mac may be in the works. I search for this kind of thing pretty often, this is the first I've read.

Mac version being developed? Right now? Anyone want to comment on that?

Is this old news? It's the first I've heard. Sorry if so.

personally, I have heard nothing, but then I haven't been looking either. Maybe Gary Priester will know something. Xara usually doesn't anounce releases until they are almost ready to release. So keep you eyes open.

The statement above was posted by Charles Moir in the Xara LX mailing list (August 2007). I´ve been following that discussion and there´s a some "juicy" bits of information there regarding xtreme development. Worth checking out...

I guess I will have to get myself on that mailing list. when it comes to releases, If the company is talking about 1 product, it just might leak out some info about a sister product...
