Default Re: Four Paintings on a Sunday

Fig leaf, huh? Yeah, he was made in an age of enlightenment when people had less hangups.

Yes ArtRAGE is to painting what Xara is to vector drawing. If you know how to handle the tools in your hands, you don't need umpteem zillion variations. You can smudge into any shape so why are their so many brushes in Painter? I guess when you make a custom palette then you have more to choose from. Ownerse who don't use a program must be appeased when it gets sold to the public. Must be something their for everyone.

People have been making art since the caves at Lasceaux and with just a few pigments, animal fat and blowing the dust into the fat, painted on the wall. I can't imagine it was aromatic, however.

The true test of a program is that it is fast and efficient, or affordable, then people won't use it, herd mentality. As in they never heard of it. Ha, ha. Xara is innovative, would seem people might like that here too.

If you want to make artwork look like a painting, it is easier to paint than to simulate it in Xara, though it is certainly worth knowing how to do it.

Every day's a new day, "draw" on what you've learned.
