    I thinking of using these
    http://www-rocq1.inria.fr/gamma/download/

    to put it generally
I need a program which can take n images and create a scene out of it.
ie i will specify the relative sizes of images and their relative positions on scene.

i hope i made it clear.

    thanks in anticipation.

    Hello abhilashi,

I'm still not clear what you are wanting to do. You have posted your question in the two 3D related forums but have not asked in any of the other forums.

Does this indicate you are wanting to use a 3D program and create a 3 dimentional scene?

If you do want a 3D scene, your photos of lions and a cage would only serve as references. You would need to either purchase models of a lion and a cage or create your own using the tools in a 3D program.

If you are wanting to simply cut the lion from it's present background and do the same with the cage so you can composite the cage over the lion. That can be done with many programs.

You previously indicated you were looking for a freeware or open source application.

A freeware 3D application that several members use is Blender.

A freeware 2D application that several members use is Inkscape.

Xara Xtreme is not free, but it is a very reasonably priced vector graphics drawing program. It has the most intuitive interface and easy to learn.

Apparently Abhilashi wants to download models from the site link refered and use them in a scene.

I would suggest using the free version of Bryce. Get it at http://www.download.com/3120-20_4-0....205.5&tag=srch
Import the models into Bryce, position them in the scene, set up the view and push the render button to make an image. Bryce is a wonderful program thats very easy to use.
