draw HEART shape in CoralDraw 9.0

Hi,
I've been drawing shapes in CorelDraw 9.0 such as round, oval, rectangle
etc., but I can't figure out how to draw a perfect "Heart Shape".

I've been trying to use the "ELLIPSE TOOL" in the "Arc" mode to make
a perfect heart shape but it dosen't look right!! What angles in the "arc"
mode should I use to make a heart shape?? Or maby I need to use another
type of tool altogether to do this. Can anyone help me!!

Try using the 3 point curve tool to make half a heart shape, then duplicate and flip over before aligning to the first half.
Next, combine the two halves and select an end node of one half and move it onto the end node of its twin where it should snap into place. Repeat for the two end nodes. You can now fill the heart.

Sark, I don't think CD 9 has a three point curve. A good vector heart will have at the minimun 6 nodes. Most idealized hearts are based on logrhthymic curves such as the logrhythic spiral you can generate with version 9 and up. If you follow the tutorial in the attached you should have no problem.

I rather don't like subtracting the pretty intersection made by the two rotated deformed spirals. Looks like a design for a Valentine's Day card or could be executed on a gate in wrought iron. The two shown in the .jpeg were done in X3, combined but not filled.

Those with CorelDRAW 9.0 and above will be able to open the zipped file, the others who either don't use DRAW may view the .pdf.

No problem, though oberonplace.com has scripts that do just about the same thing as the three point curve, they may have one for CD 9.
