    Hello,
When using the pen or freehand tool is there a way to constrain the line to the x or y axis. I've already tried the basic illustrator and coreldraw way of doing it. i've also looked in the help file. Please help.

    Thank you,
    Phil

hold down alt and stay in the neighbourhood of x or y. if you "slide", just look at the line and adjust. the less you hesitate, the easier it becomes. success.
