    Default Steel

Having a lot of free time today I've been playing with Xara Xtreme Pro and following up on some shapes introduced in the Alt-Rainbow thread http://www.talkgraphics.com/showthread.php?t=25230.

My attempt at a steel look using one of the Xara Clip Art photographs that has been given a lot of Blur using XPE.

    Nice Bill.

The second crome down reminds me in someway of the American cars grill, but i am not sure which one. Possible the front of the newer Chrysler's, just below where the badge is situated.

    Thanks Paul.

I haven't seen many car grills recently. I have seen a lot of tail lights and head lights the last few months . It's dark when I go to work and when I come home.

It kind of looks like a pearl finish too. Good thing it's not though. With me looking at your graphic I guess that would be pearls before swine!

Phew! dodged a bullet on that on,eh?

    lol!

Doug now that you mention it they could look like pearls with a small bit of tweeking.

Eric Williams post a tutorial for making pearls a few years ago http://www.talkgraphics.com/showthread.php?t=11727

LOL...you mentioned swine, I've been called that a time or two in my life

Better not look at that thread myself

It is more PC to say "Non-Kosher Animal". This is the rhetoric of the modern world lest someone understand anyway and still sue us. Houses cost enough for four working adults to qualify for one and there is a lawyer on every corner. Was better off with the drugstore and a soda fountain, that's when one income was enough to buy a house.

Yes the steel looks like black pearls. Very nice, Bill.

    Thanks Sally.

How would the politically correct "Non Kosher Animal" be applied when referring to "Pork Barrel Spending" by politicians?
