Default Color Pallete for use in file

I know that Xara saves the colors at the bottom of the screen in each file. I remember reading some posts about how the color pallete is used, and augmented with custom colors. I don't much like the color pallete that comes with the default pages opened up, and so I remember maybe Egg or someone posting a few files that had some nice blues and browns to choose from , already set up in hues of 10%, etc, but I tried searching for this, including trying to find which messages to this effect had attachments, but to no avail.

Can anyone help with a link, or attach some favorite color schemes? I favour the darker, I guess they are called shades. Maybe a spectrum of royal blues, burgundies, olive greens, clay, steel, green-gray mixes, etc.

    Anyway, thanks for any help...

This may not be exactly what you are looking for, but follow the link below to download a WindowsXP color sheme (in a .xar file):

These two tools are also very handy to create color shemes - but they're not for free

    Thanks.

Let's say you have 2 files with great pallettes, each different, and you want to merge them to one. How?

i.e., how can I merge Nostraw's pallete link file color pallette with Egg's?

You can do it this way:
    1) Open both documents in Xara.
    2) Press F9 to open the Color gallery (if not already open).
    3) Extend the folders in the Color gallery of the 2 documents.
    4) Drag and drop one color from one Folder into the other inside the Color gallery.

You can also Shift+Click a range in the color editor and move an entire color selection into the other document (inside the Color gallery). This way you don't need to do it color by color and copy the entire palette from one document into another.
