Alien Skin

I just downloaded the trial of Xtreme Pro -
Do I have to uninstall the old Xtreme if I purchased Pro as an upgrade?
Do the Alien Skin plugins work with Pro? I bought both of them.

Unless you're experiencing problems I would recommend you keep earlier versions of Xara installed. They seem to live very happily alongside each other (apart from the registering .xar and .web files nonesense)

Can't advise you on the plug-ins.

The plug-ins work equally well with Xara Xtreme and Xara Xtreme Pro. I have my installation of Pro looking to the folders where I installed the plug-ins for Xtreme. No need to reinstall the plug-ins.

Was wondering..........I tried to add the Alien Skin folder under my old version of Xara Picture Editor folder but it didn't work. Isn't that where they are stored?

You can store plugins whereever you like.
Just go to options- effects & plugins - setup and point to the folders where they reside.
