Default Editing existing GIF, JPG, etc.

    Hi,

Is it possible to import a GIF, JPG or BMP file and then convert it into editable shapes? I have a logo (GIF) that I would like to give a different colour scheme without redrawing the whole thing. It was originally drawn in Adobe Elements.

I have tried BMP trace but it does not come out too well.

I have searched through the forums to see if someone asked this question, but I could not find one and I also looked at all the video's that I thought could have something along this line.

    Thanks for your feedback!

    Regards
    Jan

    The short answwer is "Nope."
Re-drawing is not difficult, btw, (in case you don't know) place your logo on one layer and make it a background layer, then open another layer on top and trace the outlines of the various shapes and fill with colour as needed.
"Intbel" ... "Can't" is not an option.

Compliance is futile. Resistance is futile. Just do your own thing an' ignore 'em.
