LOL ankhor you did the same as me - went looking. If you can afford to have a secure storage facility, you can pay out some money for a logo..

Well you want to know something about a company.
The internet should tell you some if they are on it, and
what company isn`t, in some way, even my local bakery is.
You want to know what the company is about, I also
checked the website in one of the competitions in here.
You need to get a feel.

I made a logo, and I am not a professional, it was for inspiration
for the other side, the thing is, I still have the copyright on it ofcourse.
Lets not forget that.
No deal was made no copyright was wavered.
