Webstyle can't open htm

Hi new here but need advice.

I created a dropdown menu with webstyle 4 and was saved as html.
I had to re format but I did save all buttons and html created by webstyle but now I would like to edit and webstyle tells me. Sorry you cannot edit in webstyle if not created by webstyle.

How do I fix this ?
I can open all buttons just not the html..

OK think I got the reason why.
But why in the world will this app not save all the pertinent info required into the same DIR - My Documents, where all other files are saved, for easy save and reuse when things go wrong with PC.

This sucks, have now to try duplicate all colors,buttons,spacing, text etc for 4 php templates.
