Hello everyone!
I want to fill text with current background.
The main idea is to apply effects on background layer by other layers and final layer will be text filled with the original background layer colors.
Hello everyone!
I want to fill text with current background.

Welcome to the Xtreme Conferernce.
See attached.
Create a rectangle for your background. Apply your background.
Copy the background fill and paste attributes to the text.
To be more specific.
I will assume you want to have a bitmap for your background.
1) Import into or create the bitmap in Xtreme.
2) Select the rectangle for your background
3) Open the Bitmap Gallery (F11), select the bitmap and click Fill.
4) Copy the bitmap to the clipboard (Ctrl c)
5) Select your text and Edit > Paste Attributes
6) Select the background rectangle with the Fill Tool (F5). You will notice 2 arrows in an L shape. Drag guidelines from the screen rulers though the center and end points (see attached)
7) Select the text with the Fill Tool. Adjust the arrows (drag the little squares at the ends of the arrows) to the guidelines.
I added an outline around the text.
If you are real new to Xtreme, Ctrl L will display the screen rulers. Drag the curson from the ruler onto the page to add a guideline and continue dragging until the guideline is in place.

Here is another method.
Copy the fill to the clipboard.
Group the text and the rectangle.
Paste Attributes (Edit > Paste Attributes)
Ungroup. The fills will match exactly.

Sounds match easy but I can't make it!
Can you please give me more detailed steps with some screenshoot with the rectangle.
Thanks.
This is about as clear as I can make it.

Would be even clearer Gary if they were numbered 1 to 4 :-)
