    Default XaraXtreme demo

I wanted to run xaraxtreme demo on my windows.
Do I need Service Pack 2 or higher on my system?
Most of the time I work with linux, espacially surfing. So my windows is not up to date. No service pack higher than sp1. But the program needs 1.4 MB for installing, and it wants to download this. But I won't connect my windows to the internet.
Has somebody an idea what the program needs to install?

If you're using Linux all the time, you should download the Linux version of Xtreme, which unless I'm horribly mistaken, is free:

The Linux version is now "mostly operational".

Or do you really need Xtreme on a Windows OS?
In that case, I don't think you need XP SP2 for Xtreme.

    Hi Penguin,

    Welcome to the forum.

The Windows version of Xtreme requires GDI+ and MSXML4. Do you have your Windows system so it can access a folder on your Linux system? If so, you can download the files needed using Linux and then copy the files to the Windows system for installation.

The information about the files needed and the links to Microsoft to download them are at http://xara.com/support/xtreme/extras/default.asp

@ Alien, of course I use xaraxtreme for linux, and it works good! But I wanted to know what the windows version can do. How the animation works and so on.
@Soquili, thats the information, I need! Of course I can load the files down with my linux and copy them into windows, so I will do.
I tried to install the demo on linux with wine but unfortunately it does'nt run, I had to restart the computer ...
