    Hi Folks,
Is there a fill with colour tool available in XAR that will allow me to fill a freehand enclosed shape?

    Hi Paul
Any closed shape will automatically fill with black (default colour) and you can change that colour to any other on the colour line by left clicking on the colour you want while the shape you want to fill is selected. Right clicking on a colour will change the outline colour of the selected shape.
If the shape you have drawn does not fill with black (or any other colour), then it's not a closed shape, (the two end points of a line don't meet to complete the shape), make them meet by adding to the line when its selected by drawing an additionl segment of line from one end point to the other, and the shape will close and fill automatically. You may have to zoom in to see if the shape is complete as the gap only has to be a pixel for the shape to be open.
Once the shape is filled you can adjust the fill at will, apply linear fill, transparancy etc., but thats once you have filled your shape.
    Good luck.
    derek

Draw CLOSED shape, assign desired attributes.
Draw your enclosed shape, then JOIN SHAPES (closed and enclosed).
    Then BREAK SHAPES.
    Regards, Dmitry.
