Is there any way of deleting a single guide line? At the moment I resort to dragging the ones I don't want off the drawing space. It would be great if I could simply delete them on the spot.

Select the guideline then right click and choose "delete' from fly out

Thanks Scotty. The trouble is I have dedicated the right button to act as a push tool!
Grab the guide and drag it back into the ruler. Hope this helps, Willy
Should your page become cluttered with too many guidelines, right click on the ruler and select Delete All Guidelines.

You can also delete the Guides layer in the Layer Gallery.
Thanks everyone. I think the only way I can delete guides individually is to right click and delete or drag them off. However as I said in an earlier post I have dedicated my right mouse button to act as a push tool ( a habit gained from using another drawing package, Professional Draw). I see that you can push the page by combining ALT-X and the left mouse button. I think I will try that and reconfigure the right button as a pull-down menu.
Thanks again for all your wonderful help. I just love this forum!
Remember that the middle button (the wheel) will push the page around too. Lots of programs do that these days - it's becoming a de facto standard.
You can drag them back into the ruler with left click. Willy
Thanks PhilM. The middle button was the break I needed!! Now I will use it for shoving the page around and reconfigure the right button for a drop down list - which let's face it is much more functional than having it perform a single task.
Thanks again.
