It has taken me a while to get round to looking at the frames in clip art in Xtreme. But now that I have, I am delighted with the scope and range that they give. Here is a picture of a burning Doobry in a plain frame.

I hear that Doobries are highly flamable.
Nice simple frame.

Okay, I give up. What's a Doobry? (I hope I won't be sorry I asked this.) It's certainly an unusual-looking item, and it is obviously flammable. And when burning, it looks very good in a simple frame.

A Doobry is anything that you can't find or think of a name for. Really appropriate for doodles, as you try to learn what new filters will do!

Glen,
I didn't know either so I did a google search and found:
Noun: doobry
Usage: Brit
- Something unspecified whose name is either forgotten or not known
- doodad [N. Amer], doohickey [N. Amer], doojigger, gimmick, gizmo, gismo, gubbins [Brit], thingamabob, thingumabob, thingmabob, thingamajig, thingumajig, thingmajig, thingummy, whatchamacallit, whatchamacallum, whatsis, widget, doodah [Brit], doobrie [Brit], thingy
There was another site that went into a long disertation about the origins being after World War I and some British and Serbians working together with an experimental metal detector. http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/healingcentre/doobrey.html

Thanks for the clarification of the meaning of doobry. I think there are quite a few other ways to say this, even beyond the examples found by Soquili. I had a friend once who used the term "fitty-out" (a derivative of outfit) to refer to any useful gadget he couldn't think of the word for. And my mother had a friend who used the generic term "who-jack-a-pivvy" for absolutely any unnamed object. And, whenever I can't think of a word, I always seem to be able to remember "dysnomia", which means difficulty in remembering words.
And -- just to ensure I remain on-topic, and to balance your framed doobry -- I have attached a photo in a doobry-shaped frame.
