    Default Xara X clipart

I recently used Xara X1 to refashion the recycling symbol supplied with the clipart to incorporate some photography from a potential client.

The client is nervous that using the recycling symbol (on a web page) is potentially infringing some copyright on the recycling symbol and that some fee might be required.

Perhaps someone might like to clarify the situation for me!

    Thanks,

    Paul

Sorry I can not help you with a definitive answer... but,

I would google for the symbol... It is most likely a government held copyright, seeing that it is used on so many products and must be there according to law...

Thanks John. A quick look around didn't help to much. I now know who designed the original symbol and there are plenty of sites that can say what it means. Really speaking this is one for the customer I suppose..

    Try this:

    http://www.earthodyssey.com/symbols.html

Nothing about any of the symbols looks like it is owned in any way, shape or form.
