Thought I'd share the illustration I did for the review of Xara X I just published...

    Cool illustration Irene.

Doesn't the "C" product use a balloon for their logo? ;-)

I had to share that after reading thru Gary's excellent tutorials over on www.xaraxone.com. If anyone hasn't checked those out, those are worth the $$$ you'd pay for a fancy seminar at least. And free!

Yeah, Gary, a certain other company who shall remain nameless uses a lot of balloons in their ads. Just wanted to show you can do those, and take it a step further in Xara.

Whoops! Forgot to mention where review will be posted. Go to our user group site - www.cebug.org and follow link to Newsletter section. It's in the August issue which I'm going to be uploading in a few minutes. So, don't run over there too fast!

Gary - I seem to remember this as one of your tutorials - right down to the color of the ground & the grid for the balloon!
    Look at May 2000
I remember because it was one I did sucessfully!

Yes, Robin, it is similar to the tutorial. I took what was done in the tutorial and when a bit further. Told Gary about it off-list, but that didn't show up here.

Sorry if there was any confusion over that.
