Well, as you've already seen my printer drawing... I'm starting my own business, and for a business, you need a logo. Inspired by Gary's tutorial, here is an example of various business cards, though I'm not sure I will keep it, maybe I'll get a new idea and change it.

I want something to escort me for a long period of time, so I'd like something I won't regret later.

    Hello Availor,

It's a bit tricky to determine which is your logo - all the elements in this one file sort of blend together. Not sure what the logo is...

As for the eyeball with wings - it's a registered trademark of the multimillion dollar company Von Dutch http://www.vondutch.com Their "all seing eye" is a very well known design - and one of their biggest selling "sellers" (used on caps, shirts etc.) Could get you in a heap of trouble using the same (similar?) design. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/frown.gif

Hey Risto thanks again, I didn't know about the Von Dutch company...

And Gary, I did mention I was inspired by your lightbulb logo.
So I took just the eye... Actually I was looking for an eye with wings, though I wanted to make eagle wings, or Dragon wings... those are as close to dragon wings as possible.

And the eyeball is from your tutorial Gary. I can redo it so it is less similar to your eye... an eye is an eye... Too bad, I like the idea.
Maybe I will take a photo of an eye and just retrace it, though it doesn't look so good for my opinion.

The logo is the eye, like desEYEn (design), (EYEn in Hebrew as well - very similar).

That's the reason I post my ideas here... I get objective professional feedbacks http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Must admit Availor not too keen on the "eye with the bat wings". To use a Johnisim, I like the simple well balanced one (3rd), as he would say kiss.

I know that you are working locally, and I have not done any searches, but I know of another two companies on the net which use the name "Art of Design".

To make you feel better I was teaching people like yourself in 2000.
    Design is thinking made visual.
