Hi again! Thanks for the compliments! Yes, quilting is much harder than it looks. The designs are easy, it's the construction that's a bear. Most people don't realize how much work goes into making custom quilts, stained glass, hand-crafted woodwork, etc. John, I machine stitch most of my commercial quilts, but I like to hand stitch my own! The photo quilts are really neat. It turned into a full-time business for me quite by accident. In my previous life (before I was domesticated!) I used to draw/design with Xara. The quilting was something I did as a hobby until people started offering me money to make them!!! Now I've combined my love of computer graphics (and Xara!!!) with my love of hand crafts.
