Hi everyone! I'm new here and I thought I'd post how I use Xara. I'm a professional quilter and all of my custom made wall hangings are designed in Xara. From my finished design, I duplicate each piece and add the seam allowance very easily with the contour tool, then I print out all of the templates. I also scan in whatever fabrics I'm going to use to make a new fill gallery for each project. By doing this, I can see exactly what the finished quilt will look like before I cut anything.
