    hi Richard,

I have found that highlights and shadows on a portrait will change as the picture is drawn. What looks good without the hair, doesn't look good with the hair. I have not made it back to the face shading. Maybe tonight.

I will work on the eyelashes also. They look a little off I admit. The eye shape I can not change.

I think you must have misunderstood my meaning in a previous post. I was never commenting on the shape of the eyes, they are spot on but the eye lashes and the shadows and highlights will make them more natural and believable. I know none of us are born with **quote - unquote** "perfect" features (well except for Marilyn ), it's those features, as a whole, that make us all very individual in appearance.

I imported your last post and worked a tiny bit on the eye. Check it out. Hope you don't mind my input. If I'm being to harsh then tell me so!

    Thanks Ed,

    Richard,

Take a closer look at her eyes... You will see that they are the way I drew them.

    richard,

In valery's post you mentioned about all the hair shapes he used. Here is Brit's wire frame so far.

Wow, nice wireframe. Thanks for the clairification on the eyes with the photo close up! Coming along just fine!

    Thanks Richard.

I guess that is the problem with posting a smaller picture of the reference. The overall tone of the picture is changed depending on the size of the picture.
